Bring Change Botswana is also expected to be launched in partnership with the Botswana Investment and Trade centre. According to Bring Change founder, Mr Ettiene Pretorius,  the programme supports start-up entrepreneurs with projects at the critical early stages  of their development, and acts as a catalyst for entrepreneurs, by building a community  to accelerate the impact of forward-thinking projects, ideas and people.
"We build close relationships with experts across sectors who understand and support the importance of a growth mindset," he said during a presentation at Dream South Business Lounge last week.
Pretorius and his wife, Erichia, established the programme in 2015 to build a network of support by bridging the gap between the business world and the community, through mentors and organisations that are committed to creating positive change. During the programme one mentee is selected from the entrants and afforded the opportunity to  visit Sir Richard Branson with 20 other entrepreneurs from around the world on his  private island, Necker. According to Ettiene, the mentorship ensures that the candidate's business and brand get elevated and shift a paradigm in their communities to create a growth mindset. "All participants benefit even if they do not win the final prize." Mrs Pretorius concluded.
